Even upscale resorts near the Disney theme parks can run the gamut from loud to louder. But that’s not the case here; despite its size, the Waldorf Astoria provides common areas that feel relaxed and thoroughly elegant.
The Bonnet Creek Resort area (where Waldorf Astoria Orlando is located) is shared by just a few hotels, so you can escape the crippling traffic that plagues other nearby spots.
A 70-acre nature preserve adds to the away-from-it-all feeling of this resort area. You might even forget that you’re in bustling Orlando.
The 72-par golf course was designed by the renowned Rees Jones, and offers links lovers the chance to view the preserve while challenging themselves.
Escape the fray with a visit to the hotel’s spa or the serene pool, where you can rent a cabana outfitted with a drinks-filled refrigerator, a high-definition LCD television and Wi-Fi.
