The Boca Raton
Boca Raton's fabled favorite
VERIFIED LUXURY
We verify luxury. Our highly trained inspectors visit every property we rate, evaluating based on up to 900 objective criteria. Our hotel stays span a minimum of two nights.
We pay our own way. No one can buy a rating; all ratings are earned through our objective inspection process.
Our global team of inspectors are anonymous at all times, so they have the same experience as a typical guest.
While we inspect both service and facility, our Star Rating system emphasizes service because your experience goes beyond how your surroundings look — how your visit makes you feel is what you will remember most.
We started in 1958 as Mobil Travel Guide, and we created the original Five-Star rating system for hospitality.
Five-Star
These properties deliver an outstanding experience and consistently offer a highly customized level of service.
Four-Star

Recommended
These are excellent properties with consistently good service and facilities.

The fabled The Boca Raton has enamored visitors for decades. Renowned local architect Addison Mizner, who led the development of Boca Raton and a number of other South Florida cities, was the mastermind behind the resort’s Mediterranean and Spanish Colonial Revival aesthetic and that distinctive bright-pink exterior.
The resort unfolds across 200 waterfront acres, featuring a spa, a championship golf course, a Racquet Club with 16 tennis courts and six pickleball courts, an expansive half-mile stretch of private beach, two pool clubs, a marina, more than 14 restaurants and lounges, an art gallery and five distinctive accommodation styles. Check out rooms in Cloister hotel, which dates to 1926, when it opened as a 100-room inn.
While The Boca Raton has evolved into a modern-day, ultra-luxurious resort, it still embraces Mizner’s original vision and, upon pulling up the grand drive, you’ll be enveloped by its illustrious past.
