Our Inspector's Highlights
  • At 789 feet, the 70-story Miami hotel is Florida’s tallest building, so you know the seventh-floor pool terrace provides one of the best views in town.
  • Equinox, located on the fourth floor, provides 50,000 square feet of luxe fitness and spa amenities. Find more than 100 fitness classes a week, from spinning and yoga to studio exercise.
  • The spa offers 10 treatment rooms, a dry redwood sauna, a Turkish steam room and a wet treatment area with a Vichy shower.
  • For an adventure, go for a spin in the luxury hotel’s electric Tesla Model S house car or Mercedes-Benz GL, complimentary to guests on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • The expansive 2,830-square-foot Presidential Suite provides the ultimate posh retreat — picture Murano crystal chandeliers, a dining room for eight, a four-poster bed and dressing space with cedar-lined closet in the bedroom and breathtaking panoramas from atop the 29th floor.
Things to Know
  • For kids, the concierge will happily arrange family excursions and special children’s daytime activities, like a day at the museum or the zoo.
  • A chauffeur is available to drive you within a one-mile radius in the mornings and five miles in the afternoon and into the evening.
  • Two pools make lounging the day away a tempting option. Relax all day in one of the luxury cabanas by the main pool or in one of the hammocks strung across towering royal palm trees by the hotel’s second pool, aptly named Palm Grove.
The Rooms
  • Four Seasons Hotel Miami’s 221 spacious, art deco-inspired guest rooms and suites come in slate and blue with brown and red accents.
  • Original works by Miami-based artists Bruce Tolman, Annie Wharton and Vickie Pierre hang on the walls.
  • Guest rooms start at 500 square feet with your choice of bay or city views, and there are also well-appointed suite options.
  • All rooms and suites have lush down bedding, a full marble bathroom, a deep-soaking bath, luxe L’Occitane en Provence bath products, an iHome docking station and free Wi-Fi.
The Restaurants
  • Not your typical steakhouse, Edge, Steak & Bar designed its menu to be healthy and approachable. Executive chef Aaron Brooks, an Australia native, emphasizes farm-to-table prime products and often features locally sourced foods.
  • You’ll find a selection of high-quality Creekstone Farms steaks, in small cuts, cooked over a special infrared grill at 1,800 degrees to lock in juice and tenderness. Choose from Black Angus filet mignon, New York strip and churrasco.
  • Since it’s Miami, Brooks also infuses Latin flavors throughout the menu — think citrusy ceviche, chimichurri and Peruvian aji-amarillo-spiked tartare.
  • Another dining option is Bahía, which sits out on the nearly two-acre terrace nestled between the pool and cascading water wall. Come here for casual fare like a blue crab quesadilla, Bahia burger with Vermont cheddar and pineapple-bacon chutney and Key West-style key lime pie.
