Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale dropped anchor in one of the world’s yachting capitals in 2022 with a 22-story curved building. Miami architect Kobi Karp envisioned the white exterior to resemble the superyachts that cruise through South Florida’s pristine waters.
The modern maritime theme runs throughout the chic beachfront hotel. Neutral-toned accommodations have subtle nautical details, like lots of wood and navy-striped rugs, along with either Atlantic Ocean or Intracoastal view. Signature restaurant Evelyn’s Fort Lauderdale features Florida’s renowned fresh catch. The spa incorporates water elements into its unique treatments. Two outdoor pools let the ocean vistas speak for themselves. Morning yoga classes take place on the pool deck with the water backdrop, too.

- The yacht motif continues in the 189 Tara Bernerd-designed rooms and suites, where brass accents and lacquered wood call to mind luxurious staterooms of yesteryear. Wicker headboards, sand-toned walls and blue fabric touches keep things feeling beachy.
- Brought to life by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, Evelyn’s features cool tones, light fabrics like linen and thoughtfully placed sea grass accents to complement the dining room’s ocean views.
- While the water may be the focus, a third of the eco-friendly property is dedicated to tropical green space designed by landscape architect Fernando Wong.
